Brynna turned 6 months old! Holy Moly!! Is it really possible this little girl has been with us for half a year already!? OMG!
Here's the pics I took this morning:

And here's what's been going on for the last month:
She finally rolled over a couple weeks ago. Hooray! She can roll to either side, but so far it's only from her tummy to her back. I have a feeling she will never go back to tummy since she's not a fan of being on her stomach much. We've been working on crawling games and within 2 minutes of her being on her tummy she'll roll over. Ha! Kind of frustrating when we want her to learn to crawl, but I guess she has other ideas?
She's sitting up everywhere now and as I said, doesn't really like to be on her tummy and marginally tolerates being on her back. I think she just likes being able to see the world around her.
She's been trying more and more food. Here's what we've tried so far: Rice, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, bananas, and peas. Next on the list to try is pears and green beans and maybe some avocado (although she doesn't need the fat Ha! She's chubby enough these days!)
She has been really interested in different textures and loves to feel everything! She's been playing with more and more toys and LOVES to shake rattles and anything that makes noise. We've been reading more and more to her and she has sort of learned how to turn the pages (they are all board books at this point so no threat of anything getting torn).
She had her first try in the swings at the park the other day and LOVED it! She smiled and laughed :)
I worry sometimes that we aren't social enough (with other kids). We are still having play dates once a week with Kelly and Evan, but right now it's more "walking time for mommies" than it is for baby play. Batman started the softball season last week and B couldn't get enough of the other kids! I guess for now that little bit of interaction will have to do...
She's "talking" more and more and puts together long babbles of sound. And lately she's really been into this high pitched screeching that has Batman and I almost ready to put in ear plugs ;-)
We've been working on her standing a bit too and she's *almost* holding herself steady when propped up next to furniture. Not pulling herself up by any means, but if we place her there most times she can stand there for a bit before getting too wobbly.
Our original goal for BF was 6 mos and now that we've made it, we are going to try to make it a year. It's been such a wonderful experience for the most part and I know I am giving her the BEST nutrition I can and I don't want to stop. :)
No teeth yet, but we think they aren't too far out. We'll see?
She has discovered Kino and LOVES to have him lick her (although I'm not a huge fan of that). She will sit in her exersaucer and when he walks by she'll get really excited and put out her hands for him to lick. It's hysterical to watch.. until he starts licking her face (she likes to open her mouth WIDE when he does this... so gross!).
The weather has been getting nicer around here too and earlier this week we played outside in our own yard for the first time. She seemed to like the grass well enough and even tried to pull some up. Ha!
That's all I can think of for now. She has her 6 mo Dr appt next week and we will update her stats then.
