With Batman in tow! :) It was great to go down and see him graduate and even more wonderful to bring him home with us!
I have lots of pics and fun stuff to share in another post (and an awesome award Batman received!).
Montgomery was nice, but the south is just a completely different way of life. I think things are just S.L.O.W.E.R. there and I am NOT a slow person. Everything took FOR.EVER. and the attitude was so laid back and not rushed. I'm not sure I could handle living there if I ever have to...
It was a good trip though and we are so glad to be home! More later... wifely duties call ;-)

The countdown continues..
And there's only 2 days left!! Hooray!
Anyone live in or been to Alabama? Any insider secrets we should know? We are going to Montgomery (Maxwell AFB).
Batman will be home soon!!
Oh and we decided just to skip over Valentine's Day yesterday since he wasn't home. Celebrating it next week instead ;-)

I can't believe I missed it!
I had this whole post in my head regarding the anniversary of this day, but I have been so preoccupied by the "Batman Countdown" that I completely missed it. Well, I guess it's only by a day or two...
Anyway, that day changed my life. It brought me this little girl
Now I won't say that everything went completely great after Feb 7th. There was this and then this and this post. I worried everyday that it was all a dream, that I was going to wake up and I wasn't pregnant. I even had dreams about it! I worried that this was going to happen again.
I don't want to ever forget where I came from or the journey, the struggles, the heartache that brought us to where we are. I think it makes me appreciate my daughter more than I would have. I certainly haven't gone through the pain or procedures that some have had to endure, but I had my fair share of disappointing months, frustrations, almost five years of unhappiness.
I thank God EVERY DAY that Brynna came into our lives. And won't ever forget our first little milestone leading up to her- February 7,2009.

Do you Etsy?
Does anyone out there have an Etsy shop? I'd love to peruse your wares. I think I'm getting addicted haha!
Having a girl could get me into to T-R-O-U-B-L-E!! Eek! ;-)
PS- to answer all your questions about sleep- Brynna usually sleeps in 5-6 hour increments- HOWEVER, lately it's been more like 2-3 hours which is why her ped thinks she may be teething (along with other symptoms)

Into the single digits
We get to go see Batman in 9 days... not like I'm counting or anything.
I think being a SAHM has made this time go by so slowly...

:*(
I went and saw Dea.r Joh.n tonight with a friend.
What a stupid idea...
Okay, I really did have a great time with Megs and it was nice to get out and have some me time, but it made me miss Batman a WHOLE lot.
As in, tears... not just from the movie (because it was pretty fantastic AND a tear jerker- I knew it would be since I read the book), but... well, I just really miss that man. He's my whole world (besides B) and I feel kind of lost without him :( He's my other half.
The next 11 days can't go by fast enough...

Votes are in
And # 2 it is!
I thought that one would be the coolest (ha that sounds weird), but needed more opinions. I think I am going to print out a few of the other ones and frame them too with some black frames we already have.
I'll post pics when I get it all done :)
Only 12 days left until we get to go see Batman and bring him home! :) He was able to email back and forth last night a little and it was SO fabulous! Almost as good as talking to him ;-)

Putting it to a vote
So I found this link over at Kelly's Korner for a free 8x10 printed on canvas (all you pay for is shipping and handling- how stellar is THAT?!)here.
I want to get one of Little Miss B, but can't decide. Here's where you come in ;-)
Which one should I go with (This will hang in her room, I think)
#1
#2
#3
#4
#3 is probably my least favorite, but only because her eye is kind of weird. But I still really like it ;-)

So pissed
At MYSELF!!
I missed Batman's phone call today :( He only gets a phone call about once a week and I MISSED it. All because of damn cheer practice.
I can't really blame it on them though. I usually carry my phone in my pocket and for some reason I left it in the diaper bag. Go figure- the ONE time I don't have my phone on me is the time he calls.
Gah!! I could seriously kick myself in the ass right now! :(

So I don't mean to shoot a gift horse in the mouth...
But SERIOUSLY!?
So I ordered these socks for Brynna. We found them at Disneyland and they are the ONLY socks I have found that STAY ON. They are a little on the pricey side (for me anyway) so I searched around and found them for a deal here. (I got her the pixie style and the jenny sneaker style in case you were wondering)
One of their promos is if you spend over a certain $ amount, they will send you a free gift. I was planning on getting two sets of six anyway, but thought to myself "score! a free gift with my order!" At checkout they make it sound like it's going to be a good gift- they ask for your child's name (in the event that the free gift is something embroidered) and their birth date. Again- pretty stoked.
And then I get the package in the mail.
The socks are AWESOME, as I already knew they would be. And I was so excited to see what my free gift was...
Until I opened it and saw this:
Really??!! I could have found this at the dollar store! I almost feel insulted. I guess my thought is, why bother? If you are going to tout that you include a "free gift" don't make false pretenses and make it sound great. Tell it like it is: It's cheesy and cheap. I've been going back and forth on whether or not to write them a letter, but I'm not sure it would do any good. I won't be ordering anything else from them again, at the very least.
Next time I'll just order from Amazon and save with free shipping instead.
