Itchy itchy scratchy scratchy

My belly has been SO itchy in the last few weeks, but it has been taken to a whole new level as of last night.

I had a dream last night that Batman and I were camping with a group of friends and their kids. We were getting eaten ALIVE by thousands of mosquitoes! I woke up scratching my belly and legs. This is NOT good for stretch marks! I already have enough of them, for crying out loud! I've been putting lotion and oil on non-stop this pregnancy, especially in the last few weeks of itchiness...

If Olive doesn't come out soon, I may scratch my skin off!

Sorry to hear about the itchies. I never experienced that myself, but I can imagine how awful it must feel. Try some Eucerin Calming Cream - that stuff is thick and rich and will surely help with the itching!

"Come on out Olive, your Momma and Dadda have pretty dresses and shoes for you!!"

When I was pregnant with the twins, I got a rash (at 28 weeks) anywhere I had stretch marks-- which was pretty much everywhere. It was horrible! I took oatmeal baths, used all kinds of creams, and eventually was given a potent steroid cream. The best thing was to just keep my skin cool. Fortunately, it went away as soon as the twins were born. Unfortunately, that took 10 weeks!!! Hang in there... soon you'll have your precious little girl and it will all have been so worth it! Pre-congratulations to you! =)

Ugh not fun T! I hope Olive comes soon I'm so ready to "meet" her and I know you and Batman are too. I'd call your doctor and see if there is anything they recommend for this type of thing, I know you must be miserable.

Ewwww...please don't scratch your skin off (or Olive out, for that matter). IMO, it just can't be good! :-) I'll keep my fingers crossed that Olive makes her appearance real soon! I'm dying to see what she looks like (and what her name is!!!)
