I've decided not to reveal Olive's name on here until she actually arrives. Is that mean of me? I know so many of you are just DYING to know... I think it adds to the suspense ;-) Plus if I did tell you, you could all change your guesses on the bebepool site, and that wouldn't be very fair, now would it?
A small hint though: her middle name will be a family name- how's that for vague?

We did not share baby K's name until we had her. We did not know if it was a boy or a girl, and we did not share either choice in names until we had the baby...I say good for you!

I've been dodging that question myself. DH told his mother, though at the time I'd rather he didn't, even though she likes the name and thinks its pretty. I then told the neighbor girl, just because. Now I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't just let out with it, maybe at the baby shower. Hmmm.
I'm with you. We're not telling our names until after the birth because I don't want to hear everyone saying "oh that was my friend's dog's name" or "oh that was the kid next to me in 3rd grade that ate glue and picked his nose". And besides, it's kinda fun keeping it a secret! You're over half way! WOO HOO!
oooooo, good idea! :-) I might do that too, although, I'm horrible at keeping secrets.
Good idea, Mama! I really regret telling everyone my daughter's chosen name when I was pregnant. If I ever have another shot at pregnancy, the whole name thing will be a surprise until the bitter end.
I totally agree. There's got to be something about this that gets to be just for you and batman!

selfishly I'm disappointed, but I totally agree with your decision! When DH and I have the opportunity, we will not share names either. It will make for a great reveal in October! Have a great weekend!

No, I think it's cool that you are keeping it a secret. When I was pregnant Shawn and I only told our parents what our names were...but we were going to make everyone wait to find out what the baby was.
I supose we can all wait for Olive's birthday to find out the name...I guess!! :)
I don't blame you. I think if I ever am in that position, I would do the same.
