Recouperating

Everything went well Monday morning for the most part. As those of you on FB know, I had never had nitrous before this appt. Let me tell you... that stuff is from the GODS! Whoever discovered that was a frikkin' GENIUS! The only issue the dentist had was getting me completely numb. Apparently my mouth resists the effects of novicaine. 8 shots later though, I made it through.
One of the hygenists asked if I wanted to keep the teeth. She suggested I make them into a necklace for Batman. Ha! (She's crazy like that)
They sent me home with some tylenol with codeine, which I only had to use Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday I switched to plain, old Ibuprofen and have been just peachy.
I even went back to doing my mountain of yard work (another post about that) yesterday, I was feeling so good.

My sister and a family friend were here helping me out, which was nice too. They came in Sunday night and left yesterday afternoon. It was nice seeing them and they helped out a bit- especially entertaining Miss B- which was great! I miss them already though. It's nice to have the adult conversation ;-)

And only 21 days until Batman gets home... the countdown is in full swing ;-)

Hey, you're on FB and we're not friends?! I'll have to hunt you down and add you. ;-)

Congrats on getting through your wisdom tooth ordeal. The good news is that you no longer have this dread hanging over you. In the meantime, rest up & feel better.

Hopefully these last three weeks will go by quickly for you and Batman. I'm sure it'll be so nice having him home once again.

Glad you did well and yes, nitrous is amazing! My cousin had her wisdom teeth out too on Monday and has been texting me ever since for advice since I was a dental assistant.

YAY for only 5 more weeks! You're a champ for having two wisdom teeth removed while flying solo! Hopefully this time goes quickly for you.
